Apparently all the woman from his folk agreed by nodding their heads whilst walking 4 paces behind him dressed in a blanket head to toe

Instead of worrying about women in politics and comedy, maybe Mr Khan should be more preoccupied by the lack of security for women in his city.

Of course those from the pakistani community would know all about misogyny wouldn't they.

They don't even know what a woman is to start with!

theres loads of women in comedy, the issue is that theyre not funny. romesh went from being really funny to working for the bbc, his career will fizzle out for the next few years while he gets the piss taken out of him on social media (and on his way down he'll probably start calling everyone racist or some shit)

Khant wants all women covered up……we can see his direction. What else can you expect from a Pakistani mayor…..

Ww2 soldiers are rolling in their graves with traitors in charge like Sadik Khan

It's irritating that NO MAINSTREAM JOURNALISTS ever inquire about the Mayor's stand on women. And yes, gay people too. It's almost as if they are told not to mention such things to a member of the religion of peace. What do you think?

Romesh was a teacher at my school before he went into comedy, he was well liked by the students. It's a shame he's had to regress into this.

When is Kathryn Ryan teaming up with Diane Abbott to tell women about the things they do wrong?

Maybe they're not equal in politics & comedy because they don't want to be

I thought he wasn't as bad as Nish Kumar but seems he's another self righteous political ideologue. Half these things women say about men, yet its not an issue.

The only female comedian I've ever laughed at is Katherine Tate, when shes doing Nanna Taylor.
However Nish Kumar....is about as funny as a fire in an ophanage.
🤷
It gets on my last nerve how it's the straight, white, working class male that always gets called toxic.
😐

Sarah Everard was about Met power not male toxicity.
