Показать описание
In Part 2, I demonstrate configuring the Router interfaces with IPv4 and IPv6 addressing. Addressing and default gateway configurations are also done on the switch and PCs. The entire thing is done in Netlab by NDG using Networking Academy Lab 10.4.4.

FYI: the enable secret password on the 4221 router in the video uses the type 9 script algorithm hash

I did this twice on packet tracer and my pings do not reach PC-B. It stops at the router.

I'm pretty sure I'm messing something up on the router, but I've checked and entered the same commands on the CLI as you did lol.

Too complicated for a beginner when typed on the command line. Is it possible to use packet tracer GUI instead?

this is not related to the video, but to topics you speak frequently. when the domain name I type isn't mapped to IP by my computer, how is this handled by the network? Is the domain name part of the frame's body?

Instead of setting the default gateway on the switch, could you just add an ip route to the router? Would that work as well?
