How to FIX Performance Issues after Upgrading to Windows 11 23H2
On Windows 11 23H2, you may need to reset the Windows Security app to
resolve performance issues, and in this guide, I will outline the steps
to complete this task. If you notice a degradation in CPU performance or
GPU problems like sudden stutters and drastic FPS drops after upgrading
to version 23H2, you’re not the only one. As it turns out, a few users
have reported a significant reduction in processor and graphics performance after updating to Windows 11 23H2 using the clean installation or in-place upgrade through Windows Update.

Hello 2 day old new pc hp victus 15l 5700 6600xt upfated to adrenaline driver then did windows updated which were quiet a few. I cannot access this blue screen. And the windows button on the keyboard windows +R works for command ...But none of the ICONs work or the windows pop ups device manager task manager ect. I cannot reset the computer or access my web browser...any help would be appreciated

I had issues with 23h2 with stuttering and I went back to 22h2 and problems were solved. I ain't updating

I have a question regarding the steps you’ve outlined. Let’s say I’ve already followed steps you mentioned like put that 2 commands in powershell after that If my CPU virtualization is already turned on, why would I need to go to BIOS and turn it on again? Can I skip step this bios step in this case and just restart only.
Additionally, how can I determine if I’m experiencing the same issue that you’re discussing in the video.

Hello. Can anybody help me. First I install windows 11 pro N. (N) by accident.
But everything worked fine after installing
media feature pack
and AVIF and WEBP image extension.

Then I updated to win 11 22h2 using an ISO file and installation usb pen which worked well.

I didn't get any 23h2 update and I updated using a win11 23h2 ISO file and made an installation usb pen which at first seemed to work well until I started looking at AVIF pictures and some videos. win11's own image software asked me to install avif and another image extension, which I installed from the Microsoft store, but this time it didn't work
no matter what I tried, I could no longer look at avif images.
uninstalled all image extensions and codec packs and reinstalled them without any help.

Some video formats do not work Longer even if I have the codec pack installed.

All of that worked before the update.

Also found out that the media player was gone. so I
Tried to install
Media feature pack which was an option in
win 11 settings
but got an error
(could not be installed)
Looked in powershell with a command to find that the Media feature pack was installed.

Does anyone have a good suggestion as to what happened to it
win11 pro N 23H2 ?

PS. Have installed all updates including bug fix
