I was friends with a girl like this. The “exciting sleepovers” were just us sitting on our phones, eating snacks, and talking about how jealous everyone would be when we got back to school. Then half the people would leave in the middle of the night and we’d go back to school and lie about all the “fun things we did.” Thank God I don’t feel like I have to be a part of this kind of group anymore to be “accepted”. Bro so glad that when I was in middle school my group was non-toxic but popular because the queen bee from the old popular group left and it kinda fell apart. We were kinda under that because some people in our group were in that school since grade 1 and we were friends with a lot of the people.
