I read this and it was so painful cuz they were best friends, maybe even soulmates, but the black hair guy did something unredeemable to the white hair guy (which wasn't really clear until the author confirmed it in a Q&A). But the way it was written, a lot of the readers took pity on the black hair guy and (not so secretly) wished he was somehow forgiven and that the white hair guy stayed with him. Instead, in the original story, the white hair guy goes with another guy who (even tho was really nice and the "healthier" choice) just didn't sit well with a lot of readers. Like me, readers kept asking about the black hair guy. Even tho there's an alternative ending, it just made me too sad to even look at it. It was deep and actually really good however it could have been so much better. This edit crushed my heart - so perfectly done 😭
