I'm not really even Nebraska fan, but I would rather watch football played like this, I formation, full back, hard nosed football way more then these flavor of the week spread offenses where the quarterback's pass for 500 plus yards, it's not appealing to me, & I hope for the day where football comes back to this.

16 out of 22... for a 72% success rate (of gaining 3 or more yards), I'll take that every time! For the record, 7 (running to the short side of the field on 2nd and 7), 10 (poor blocking by Ben Cotton), 17, 18 (dancing too much), 21 (PSU's D-Line exploded off the ball), and 22 (J Sirles turned completely around and didn't even block anyone) were the only mishaps.... Personally i'd run this play 100 times if it meant that 3/4 of the time I'd get 3 yards or more!

Considering that Penn State knew what was coming every single play - thanks, Beck - he fact we averaged 5.6 yds per carry to me indicates that our o-line is actually pretty good

A staple of the once dominant Nebraska run game. Student body left and student body right. Almost unstoppable and would still work today. Much more effective than that stupid, NFL based deep hand off to the running back.

The blocking fullback seems like he is not a true blue fullback; and instead, a linebacker or someone that they converted to fullback.
