Leaders of the Coalition for Reforms and now claim that the Jubilee administration led by President Uhuru Kenyatta is not committed to devolution and is only paying lip service to the concept. Opposition chiefs Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula insist that the presence of county commissioners and other members of the national government coordination teams, previously known as the provincial administration, were undermining the governors and their operations.

Raila should tell us how Kenyans benefit from devolution when the governors squander all the money on fancy lifestyles. It does not matter if devolution is killed politically by the central government or by lavish spending by spendthrift governors. He should tell Kisumu residents why he is fighting so hard for devolution only for the governor's office to swallow the 'loot'. This is crap.

The county commissioners are just pcs. We cannot have a British and USA structure of govt running in parallel. We fought and voted to a devolved govt . Why is jubilee so scared of a devolved govt?

Raila wacha porojo, there are county and national responsibilities, according to the constitution. You can't have county reps delivering national services reporting to the governor. If you want that change the constitution, Hakuna haja ya kutukana Uhuru. If you were in power nothing would be done yet, vitedawilli tu
