It would be a dream come true if the slow mo guys managed to capture some epic moments from falcon 9 and starship launches and landings

I'm impressed that SN9 actually "landed" on the landing pad and didn't destroy anything else.

What is amazing is that the both ships landed on there assigned pads showing good control of the decent.

SN9's specialty was delays and leaning; SN10 was rolled out earlier than expected so hopefully it will be early to fly as well!

The flames early in flight are from the engine that restarted successfully. You have your perspective turned around because it was inverted at the end. The camera view of the engines is from the leeward side so the failed engine is the one to the right at the rear of that internal view.

Years ago my instructor told me the most accurate description of C4 going off was "Rapid Combustion" (because all explosives have a 'burning rate' just like combustible gas and liquid) so every time I hear RUD (rapid unscheduled disassembly) I mentally ask "what was the burn rate". SN9 had a beautiful rapid combustion if you like explosions but I don't want to see another one... Go SN10!

The debris from the engine bay was just some foil heat protection.

I am looking forward to a successful SN landing, which WILL happen, eventually.

Very nice breakdown of the SN9 incident.

Great info as always Marcus. Yea, the slo-mo video was stunning. At least the point of impact was dead in the center of the landing pad. That in itself is an incredible accomplishment. Neopork's work is incredible.

''Hard landing and a rapid energetic unschuedeled reassembly''' that's the best way to describe a crash right there haha!
