for anyone wondering, the first two things he shows are made using minecraft built in shaders, which is a part of a resource pack. A program called objMC can port obj files into minecraft shader files, and because these shaders use vectors to display stuff in the world, the models dont have to square, unlike if you would use CustomModelData.
