A part of me imagines those attacks on humans were them trying to steal peoples sandwiches and stuff kind of like a very large and much less agile seagull or pigeon.

wow i never heard of this creature, very interesting
also i have a suggestion, since you already made some sapient animals maybe you could try doing inteligent amphibians from amphibia, the frogs to be specific, i think it might be a fun video idea

*A Rabbit moves calmly in the forest*
*When suddenly it hears something moving in the bushes*
*The Rabbit stays alert. Ready to flee at the slightest sign of threat*
*Turns out to be a Deer*
- Oh wow! I thought it was going to be a predat-

Didn't know this existed. Cool concept, and even cooler drawing!

Thank you for taking a look at the Jaculus; it was something that, when I found it thought, looked like a nice smaller creature for world-building; so thank you for the speculative biology treatment.

One thing I had thought about in relation to human attacks is the Australian swooping season and the potential danger that something similar among jaculuses could pose should they become territorial at points during the year.

Hi, I loved the video and your channel in general, I've watched some videos several times, the truth is that I'm curious to see how it could be pou, you know the virtual pet that was a kind of brown triangle, I feel like it was a fun creature to reimagine, thanks for reading 😊

Very nice artwork and speculative biology. As a continuation on the kaiju series, I think you should do Godzilla Earth next, or perhaps Titanus Doug from the Monsterverse.

This has to be the funniest looking creature so far! Of course, the fatal power of this creature is no laughing matter.

Something tells me when the Roman empire was in power they might have introduced exotic animals around. Namely regarding stuff brought back to Rome for the Colosseum.

As always great video and I’ll admit this time, I don’t have any specifics to comment on. I just really liked it as a whole. also, have you ever considered covering the power ups of Mario? Because I feel there is a surprising number of possibilities in how you could rationalize them like the various mushroom based power ups could be a family of mushrooms, mainly notable for their use as performance enhancing drugs by the armies of several nations in the world that contains your reinterpretations of Yoshi and Bowser that, depending on the type can either give you perceived, enhance strength and durability or act as a sort of world war one morphine shot, but in edible form and the flower-based power ups could simply produce certain compounds that when processed correctly can result in surprisingly easy to transport hyper flammable, balls of a strange vaguely napalm like substance or balls of a similar sap like substance that flash freeze when hitting something with a sufficient amount of force and then who knows where you could go with the super stars and power stars

Great design, it reminds me of the warbats from godzilla vs kong.

Like you, I'd never heard of this creature before this video, so I found this really fascinating.

For a couple other medieval bestiary creatures, I think I'll suggest the bonnacon and the catoblepas.

Question: for something like a future predator to completely lose their eyes would lack of need be actually be enough of a prompt? Or consistent ocular injuries?

Great new video! I’m impressed as always,
but I have a few questions, plus an suggestion:

How exactly could such a small creature (assuming it is small) with such a small horn cause so much damage to animals as big as Cows via gliding? Especially if it lacks the mass/weight to do so?

And if it’s ramming via gliding fails to kill, or significantly injure a large animal with one blow, then what?

Also, I would imagine it to have other built in shock absorbing features besides a dense neck vertebrae. A good source of inspiration can be the redhead woodpecker. This bird can absorb a G force of 1, 000, pecking a tree 12, 000 times per day, 85 million times over its life time. This is thanks to its tongue that extends to the back of the mouth and out the nostrils, encircling the entire cranium (inside the skull), hence the anatomical equivalent to a safety belt for its brain.

Somebody better pick up that phone because I FUCKING CALLED IT!!!!

Anyway, cool creature cool video and for a suggestion I was wondering If you could do the Pooka and the Fygar the two enemy creatures from the iconic 1982 Namco arcade game Dig Dug! (You know If you haven't already got them on your list.)
