Lars Moravy confirmed to me on X that the large wheels are because of efficiency! Large radious is actually good for rolling resistance (as long as they have good aero) it is the width that usually hurts big tires!

I think sliding doors would be the best option for the CaberCab!
It’s safes space, can be automated to open and close, sliding doors are practical and they look cool!

The rim ring is added for showroom. On presentation day the tires rings were painted. Maybe Michellin will make some personalized tires until the cab launch/production ... who knows.

Its the inside dimensions and comfort that make all the difference than the outside dimensions that count for the robotaxie .

With the width being a little over 5 FT wide (1.6 M), it would be interesting to know what are the projections of the doors when open, might not be a protrusion issue for a standard parking stall if under 2’ (.61 M).

Count the tiles on the floor and get a measurment for the tiles and that should give you a pretty accurate measurement.

Making it longer with a taper helps with aero. It allows for more storage, leg, and crumple zone room.

The reason they can have doors that takes up so much space is you're not supposed to out at a parking space, charger or garage. The car will stop where your going and then go park itself in a parking space that's so tight that you couldn't get out even if there were regular doors.
