I struggle with insomnia and was so angry with God because it was another night of not sleeping. 2:35am-7am of lying awake. In the past I’ve used substances of all kinds, lust, eating big meals, literally anything to make myself sleep, and after staying away from those things for so long, I just gave in

my flesh and the enemy is trying to justify the actions even though I know it’s wrong, or even worse “it’s been months since you did ‘blank’ you can do it now.”

Brother, I’m am struggling to keep my mind out of the gutter but the lack of sleep is so detrimental, or when I’m laying in bed for that long it’s so difficult to shut my mind off

Today both you and Bryce gave such amazing advice, I prayed and heard direct understanding as to why I have insomnia, I feel ashamed for giving in, but I hope anyone reading this will take the time to pray, and talk to God and see if he can show you why you have such specific challenges

Recently I have not been in my word either and I have found every excuse not to.
This morning I woke up and said I have to start my morning with prayer and a video from Braxten. To hear the end of this video broke my heart. You were called to spread the word of God. I’ve thought about this a lot today. The realisation that we are spiritual beings inside a worldly body. How we must make our spirit reign over our body and mind. Fasting is a great place to start in gaining rule over our bodies and in fasting really take our thoughts captive, look out for them, see if encouraging and in line with scripture or not. Casting off the thoughts that don’t comply and replace it with truth from Gods word.

This video really helped me out. I realised I was doing things wrong. It hasn't been long since I started my walk with Jesus, and I am currently struggling a lot with quitting video games. I know they are not bad, but I spend way too much of my time in those games instead of giving that time to learning The Word or to get to know God more. And today specially I was trying not to fall into that but for some reason I just couldn't seem to be able to. All the time thinking about it and I couldn't think of anything else, because the more I focused on stoping those thoughts, the more thoughts I had about it. Then I saw your video and just clicked because I felt like I had to. And now I realise why. You made me realise that I was doing it the wrong way. Thank you very much. I was listening to this episode for the first time in a while and it’s crazy because lately I felt a sign that I need to reconnect with god and be better with my choices and self. At the end you mentioned picturing a school bus and it blew my mind because I work for special needs kids in a school bus and it felt like it was a snap that this was probably a message for me to listen closer. Glad I watched this video. I’m currently renewing my mind for my actions can be changed. I’ve been working on my laziness, all I do is lay in bed all day and be on my phone. My laziness is the reason I procrastinate a lot, never do things that need to be done, and it even drives me away from God. I always keep in mind about other sins that I do so I try my best to be careful and keep God in mind but didn’t realize that laziness is just as bad when I came across this verse that really got me, “A lazy person is just as bad as someone who destroys things.” Proverbs 18:9 and “To learn, you must love discipline” Proverbs 12:1
