For Modi’s ‘mission 370’, winning more seats in the south in the Lok Sabha polls is pivotal. Yet, navigating the southern political landscape poses many challenges for the BJP. One key factor is the relatively subdued Hindu-Muslim conflict in many southern regions. Moreover, the BJP is often viewed as a party rooted in Hindi-speaking states, while the RSS is seen as an adversary by regional parties.

Modi needs South to get majority of votes to continue in power but, what has Modi done to the South?

For Andhra Pradesh:
* Modi did not give Special Status.
* He has not given enough funds for Polavaram Project, so much so, it is not completed.
* He is threatening to sell Visakha Steel Plant, to give it to Adani.

For Telangana:
* He has done nothing.
* He and his party members only play communal card.
* Shah threatens to stop reservations for Muslims.

*** Sangh Parivaar members, Bajrang dal, and ground level bjp hooligans are after Christian churches, destroying some of them for flimsy reasons, both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

In Karnataka:
* Instilling fear in hindus, and playing communal card.

In Kerala:
* Kerala people are well-educated.
* Modi cannot win Keralites by his communal card.

In Tamil Nadu:
* Modi cannot break the ice with Tamil's strong dravidian culture.
* Tamil people are fearless to bow down to Modi.

What has Modi done for South India? Whether South needs Modi is big question.
