One of the most surprising facts about The Beatles is they couldn't read music! Despite their incredible success and influence on the music industry, all four members of the band were self-taught musicians who relied on their natural talent and creativity to compose and perform their iconic songs.

Yes! I have heard that before, and thanks to my Internet search, I found your clip along with this info:

Paul McCartney: In a 2018 interview with 60 Minutes, McCartney said, "I don't see music as dots on a page. It's something in my head that goes on". He also said he was embarrassed about his lack of music theory.
John Lennon: In a 1980 Playboy interview, Lennon said, “None of us could read music… None of us can write it”.
George Harrison: Liked it that way.

The Beatles were what Hollywood composers called "hummers". This meant they would hum the tune and someone else would play it. This method relied on a good ear and musical memory.

Most of our music is NOT written down in a classic manner, genius is not something that usually comes to those who have studied their personal love. It is just a practiced love of ones love of a talent that they have, true??
