I am Japanese. We, the Japanese, call this type of lobster, "ise-ebi" (伊勢海老). The meat of ise-ebi tastes sweeter than American lobsters. It is great eaten as sashimi.

Here's an English fact about the lobster

It is called a Spiny lobster (or rock lobster) and are known for lacking any big, meaty claws. They also happen to be my profile picture.

La comida japonesa me parece curiosa .Pero encuentro incluso más curiosa la preparación o la historia detrás de cada platillo . También la comida asiática en general nos muestra que a veces que si sabes preparan adecuadamente los alimentos, técnicamente todos los animales son comestibles ( aunque supongo que obviamente no aplica en todos los casos ) .
