Introduction to Literary Theory

This video is designed to give students a basic understanding of what literary theories are and how to use them. This video purposefully avoids as many academic terms and phrases in an attempt to provide students with practical information about how to get started with literary theories. (disclaimer: I don't own any of the information on these slides; that's pulled from Lois Tyson's "Critical Theory Today" second edition. I owe a lot to Tyson's book which got me through many difficult situations in graduate school, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to study this further)
