The Dental Admission Test (DAT)

Hello, I am an international dentist, I recently just passed the INBDE (thanks to bootcamp btw, thank you guys so much). My Question is, do I need to take this exam also to get into advanced dentistry programs? or is this test mainly for students that are trying to get into dental schools? I have a question when do you take the DAT and can u take it as a high school student and then after you graduate high school you go to a dental school directly
