Lanaya is mine! (Dota 2 Short Film Contest 2016 - 1st place winner)

Hello everyone! This is my entry to this year's Short Film Contest! I was really busy with my new job since February. I thought I wouldn't have time to make an entry this year (and I didn't have many ideas either), but then I had several calls with EDJE where we had a really good back-and-forth process, throwing ideas at each other. So there I was, 12 days before the deadline... and now, here's the video! I hope you enjoy it!

During the first 15 seconds, the music is one of the battle themes from the official TI5 Music Pack (by Julian & Jeremy Soule)

Wait... did I write "Lanaya is mine" ? Obviously I meant to write "Lanaya is mines". Oh well. ;)

Fun fact. Pudge in that scene is holding 43 Dragonclaw Hooks. That equates to about $6947 USD. Which coincidentally is the price I offered to pay Max if he called the film "An Ad-Sven-Ture."

These minor details really awed me and i didn't even realize it before watching the behind the scenes video.

The voice acting on this is amazing. Closes to the actual hero's line I have ever seen. Nice job!

I like how Sven is carrying CM on his back at 0:32! So cute. I bet this one in going to win the contest for sure. The animations are super smooth, the voice and sound effects editing is spot on, not to mention how sven doesn't have any cosmetic item on him at all while his teammates are fabulous as hell (except for pudge). And last but not least, the TA sitting on that rock watching them goofing around before getting blown up by mines cracked me up real hard. Outstanding work, sir!

Who created this vid is an absolute monster. Dude this vid has a lot of very tiny details that made it fcking awesome. The conceptor has a fcking cool humor like when they covered their nose when pudge uses rot, covered their ears when qop ulti'd, 0:32 cm and sven sweet moment 0:55 sven dropped his sword before the explosion 0:57 TA was there all along... Like these tiny little details which are hard to notice when you dont pay attention, got me..

As a beginner of SFMing. I completely salute your choice to keep making SFM animations that are _not_ 60 FPS. (only a very small amount of SFMakers can pull it off, but most the the time it removes a lot of the quality).

The animation is, once again, absolutely breathtaking. I wanna learn how to do that so badly. <333
