The lack of caring on part of many e-bike riders are contributing to the many e-bike crashes and deaths with vehicles. yes its the vehicles responsibility to watch out for cyclists but e-bike riders make it hard for motorist when they don’t obey traffic laws. E-bikers prefer to ride fast and do not yield to traffic signals which makes it all the more dangerous for everyone on the road. many e-bikes are not even bicycles and are more of an electric dirt bike and those riders scare me the most because they seem to ride the most erratic performing stunts on the road and driving at double the speed limit in residential areas.

Alcohol or drugs did not play a factor in the crash, but entitled stupidity did.

Don't know the details of this accident but do notice some biker riders and skateboarders at night without adequate lights and dark clothing.

My condolences to the deceased. I have begun to notice that bike riders, E-bikers, scooters, etc. seem to think that traffic laws don't involve them. Not saying all of them, but I've seen some that zoom through a crosswalk when the red hand is up or even take an electric scooter on the roadways passing red lights. I feel traffic laws should be observed on both spectrums. Especially those moped riders popping wheelies in moving traffic riding one wheel in the air. Accidents about to happen. They should make have to purchase insurance too, lol.Common sense people as well as awareness.

These bike and bicycle need to register and require to have insurance in order for them to go on roadways…… sometimes they are the ones causing accidents and they need to be liable for the other vehicles

That's what happens when you get on a bike and don't follow the rules of the road. We see it everyday.

And you want to pass a Law that will make it legal to J Walk as long as the person thinks it's safe. That is so stupid. It proves time and time again that most accidents happen because they are not in a marked crosswalk or going against the light.

Isn't it common sense not to do that? Or he thought even though he's riding against traffic & crossed a intersection on a red he's ok & no danger in sight. Actions & consequences
