I’m going to share this with my family today. I was teaching this to my girls late last night and my wife asked if this was in the Bible. So today I’m gathering materials to back up what I taught last night. Thank you for making a concise version of what Paul was writing about. This helps a great deal. I will probably still read the passage as you can never go wrong with the word of God.

God bless you and what you do.

Whenever that happens, the perishable makes the imperishable perishable forever; thus destroying all of immortality in the process.

One question I have about our new bodies--will our senses change? Will we see and hear things we were never able to in our earthly bodies? Will our sense of smell, touch and taste change? Will we still need to sleep, eat, etc.?

The body is a temple our Lord hidden truth in His words when He said the temple would be destroyed and raised on the third day in which He was talking about His own Passion and Resurrection. The body is a temple like it's the temple for the Holy Spirit and who dwells within that temple within ourselves is our Lord Jesus which is Sanctifying Grace that life within us.

The sin of Adam the original sin the result was sin and death. The death is both physical death and spiritual death. Because this world is a fallen world in which everything perishes with is why our body dies it eventually returns to dust but even so the body is the temple. Because of our Lord's Passion when we are Baptized we are Baptized in His death the original sin is forgiven. So that we might share in His Resurrection we receive the gift of Sanctifying Grace within ourselves which as we know our Lord is the life therefore we might not spiritually die but have everlasting life even after the body dies this is the first fruits of His Resurrection. On the last day all the dead both the righteous and unrighteous will be resurrected. The dust will be remade when the soul returns fully restored to life and like our Lord's Resurrected Body will be immortal both the righteous and unrighteous. After the Last Judgement the judgement of nations the Devil and all the unrighteous will be cast into Hell, the unrighteous both in their immortal bodies and souls will be cast into Hell suffering in punishment forever. At the moment because there is no more evil the world will be changed in an instant as Heaven becomes one with the physical universe like the soul reuniting with its body and death will be no more forever.

ev 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Will pianists still play the piano in Heaven? Why will we have reproductive organs if we'll never use them again?

Usually Catholics have a hard time grasping the idea of the "resurrection of the body" as stated in the Apostle's Creed, because we relate to our spiritual nature as being separate from our physical nature. It's hard to believe that traditional Catholic thought has it that we will be humans in Heaven as opposed to becoming Angels. That we are inherently and forever half physical. Most religious or spiritual minded people think of the body as merely a shell. Not something so important that we need to store it away for judgement day. But I understand that the seed of the fallen Adam & Eve is what makes our nature corrupt. So from that perspective, humanity existing in a non corrupt form would by default 'be like Heaven'. Which raises the question as to whether we are fallen beings living in a kind of purgatory or whether humanity is meant to be a permanent state of existence. I can see why science only complicates this contemplation, because they would see human immortality as being a huge problem for this planet. Procreation IS the immortality project of our genes. If each personality existed forever then procreation would not only be pointless but it would have created a major problem of overpopulation subsequently killing the planet's resources.

Look, if the" Word BECAME flesh" then what was he BEFORE? Obviously he was NOT 'flesh', not a human in the "bossom of the Father" in heaven was he? Therefore since he prayed to the Father "Glorify me alongside yourself with the GLORY I HAD alongside yourself before the world was" ( Jon 17:5) Thus Jesus returned to heaven as Peter testifed "Put to death in the flesh, made alive in the SPIRIT". ( 1 Peter 3:18 ) Jesus Is now a GLORIOUS MIGHTY SPIRIT! Not a mere lowely human, a Jewish man of 30 years old, sitting with the Creator of the universe, whom no one has or can see 'lest they Die'! Amen

The human body God first gave Adam & thus to us all relies completely on oxygen, water food e.t.c. Once we start elevating ourselves above the earth we die! ( unless we wear a space suit!) So How can it be true that our human bodies will rise from our graves and that we bodily go to heavan? It no only doesnt make sense, the bible doesnt teach it! Paul stated clearly "Flesh & blood CANNOT inherit God's Kingdom" ( 1 Cor 15:50). Its a pagan teaching ( See Asciepius killed by Zeus).

Matt 28:1 uses the greek; ἐπιφώσκω, which means 'it was dawning' ( not before dawn) Mary stood quite close to Jesus. Yet she did NOT recognise him till he SPOKE a familiar greeting to her! This is just one example to show that what she saw & the other disciples for the next 40 days was NOT the sacrificed body of our Lord buy a MATERIALISATION ( like the two 'men' & three 'men' that appeared to Lot & Abreham and even 'ate food' with them. ( Gen 19 & 18 ). Jesus said at the last supper "this is my BODY WHICH IS TO BE GIVEN on your behalf". Jesus laid down his human life as a RANSOM for our sins! He was "Put to death in the FLESH made alive in the SPIRIT ( 1 Peter 3:18). Human creatures CANNOT dwell in the spirit realm! If Jesus is now the "image of God", is God the Father a HUMAN! NO!
