Gold Star father Khizr Khan: 'I am disgusted' by Trump's Arlington stunt

Donald Trump's campaign is under fire for using what was supposed to be a somber ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery for their political purposes while fighting with the staff. But this blatant disrespect from Trump and his allies for U.S. veterans is nothing new. MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin spoke with Gold Star father, Khizr Khan, on Trump's long history of attacking the military and veterans who dare to criticize him.

The US has over 400, 000 fallen heroes buried in Arlington Cemetery. Many of these heroes died under Republican administrations and many others died under Democratic administrations. Among those buried in Arlington are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, atheists, blacks, whites, Mexicans, Asians, and many others. Neither party can claim the moral high ground when it comes to the war-related deaths of our sons and daughters! So neither political party nor political candidate should EVER use our brave fallen heroes in Arlington cemetery as political fodder! Trump obviously either does not understand this or, worse, does not believe it! My proof? Less than 24 hours after attending an anniversary of 13 US soldiers killed in Afghanistan, Trump's campaign uploaded a political video to his Tik Tok account of the Gold Star families and other fallen heroes filmed in Arlington Cemetery! This is not only disgraceful; it is also ILLEGAL! Trump broke the law...AGAIN and the Trump apologists rush to defend his vile, self-serving actions...AGAIN! Keep politics out of Arlington Cemetery! PERIOD!

My family member is a Psychologist working with our veterans and we look on her work with respect pride and reverence. It's never about what ANY of want. It is about our veterans. Arlington explained the rules to a federal level former president who should have known the rules. He went to military school. But he isn't very bright. Or respectful. Or caring of others.
