CD1 is back with a reinvented name in our grippy and durable S-Line plastic. Formerly known as CD2, we’ve brought the mold back to the spotlight based on popular demand. The letters “CD” in the name stand for Control Driver, putting the player in the driver’s seat and allowing you full control to manipulate and style the disc exactly how you want it to. CD1 makes for a great first distance driver for less powerful or skilled players and an incredibly useful disc for experts, too. Those with a bit more arm speed will find that this disc often will compete for distance with even their fastest drivers, yet the execution feels more effortless and controlled.

Compared to the C-Line counterpart, this S-Line version is going to fly a bit straighter with less effort. Profile of the disc is comparable with a gentle dome throughout and semi rigid flexibility.

I think there should have been a flight comparison between Zeta's Moon, C-Line CD1, and this new S-Line CD1. I don't see the need to compare the S-Line CD1 to the FD or Essence.

Is it right thinking this is less flippy than the zetas moon?

Gotta say the s-line CD1 and it's quite as more stable as my essence I use to use. Really good disc for long controlled shots. But it’s a bomb with forehands. CD1 does have a quite more glide.

I will never not love the cd1/cd2. Its the first disc i can think of that I got that hyzer flip to turn shot out of and that is what got me hooked on discgolf! ❤

I'm a big fan of the c-line cd1. I've noticed it beats in and loses its stability after few months of heavy use. I'm wondering if the S-line cd1 beats in quicker, or hokds the stability longer?

When comparing to the FD, the CD1 only went further than the FD one time. Why bag this over the FD?

Almost 10% of us men that have some sort of red-green color blindness would thank you if you would choose some other line color than red against green turf :) its annoying if you have focus to the line especially with small phone screen
