*I had nothing but troubles when I installed the panoptix in boat with two new Garmin fish lost sonar this and that .. after doing a lot of reading this thing needs to be direct to battery not to fuse box or spliced into a hot wire . I took everything apart today hooked it up to a stand alone battery and not one error at all . I might get a kayak battery just for this to run on . going this weekend to big musky lake I can not wait !!!!*
