Since 2017, Kendrick hasn't sold over 330K first week. From the year 2011-2024, Kendrick Lamar only had 2 #1 Hits, one of which was a Taylor Swift collab, until he dissed Drake on Like That. Aside from DAMN, Kendrick has only successfully outsold Drake's NON-Hip Hop albums (Honestly Nevermind, a dance album, and $$$4U, his RNB album). And since DAMN released, Drake has had 2 rap albums outsell it (over 600K first week), and ALL of his rap albums have done 400K first week, unlike Kendricks, and his mixtapes have outsold Kendricks equivelant (Untitled Unmastered). After his beefs historically his numbers are high, Views did 1M first week after Meek Mill battle and ghostwriting was exposed, and after his loss to Pusha T, he did 730K first week,

EVERYDrake album people try to call his fall off. But every Solo album he puts out on average does 100K-200K more than the other rappers who are in the big 3. I can't call it now, but if we look at history and the facts, I'm not gonna imply that he won't sell.

Not only has he been dethroned even if he does somehow clean up the damage and aftermath, the sound of hip hop has changed. Not just Kendrick, but we have doechii, central cee, and other artists about to come up.

Can someone help me understand something here: Is Drake a Rapper or an RNB singer? What is he best at?..is he a top MC or a top Singer...can he rap better than Kendrick or sing better than Chris Brown? People keep saying this guy is the best, what is he best at?

His solo albums have been trending downwards. If for all the dogs did around 400k. I can also see him doing around 350k. I would love to hear a focused and concise Drake project, though.

Its gonna flop hard I think. His albums have been notorious for being subpar compared to his singles. I expect nothing different unless his sweatshop is working overtime.

im not a stan of any artist but i enjoy good music. Drake has a lot of good songs, even on these last albums he dropped the last 5 years, there were some bangers. But there were more filler songs. His next album has the be of the quality of Take Care, NWTS, IYRTITL. Even So Far Gone. The problem for me is the singing, sometimes it works but mostly it doesnt. Thats because Drake aint a singer. I hope the next album will be at least 80% rapping and 20% singing
