I'm upset too about the Purito sunscreen. It went on like a dream, and it was so moisturizing. I used to use the Australian Gold, but it was hydrating enough. By the way, I believe it now is offered in 3 different shades.
I wish the facial sunscreens would have a higher SPF. I'm currently using the Elta MD tinted sunscreen and I believe it's 44. It's a great sunscreen, but I wish the tint was lighter.
I wear my sunscreen 365 days a year, even if I'm in the house all day. 🌞

You're so right! There's so much misleading information on sunscreen and the types of sunscreens out there. Also, I totally agree with you that Europe is ahead of the SPF game and their formulations are way better than ours. I envy your yearly trips to Ireland! Take me w you!!!!

For anyone w redness, I highly recommend the Dr. Jart green corrector with SPF. It's so good and it covers any redness when it's rubbed in on the face. It's also a great base for foundation but can be worn alone. It does not stay green. Lol. Dr Jart has many fantastic products including their Ceramidin Cream!

I wear my sunscreen everyday ☀️. So glad you did this video . I’d like to try the Garnier and La Posay. I’ve been using Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer/Sunscreen SPF 50 Helioplex for about a year now. It’s a good sunscreen and it does feel a little greasy after application but once you let it dry down it’s a little better. I wear makeup daily so I need a good sunscreen that doesn’t feel like a sunscreen and doesn’t have a bad smell to it.

Great topic today Shelly! My sensitive skin cannot tolerate chemical sunscreen filters so I've come to embrace the white-ish cast from mineral filters. :D On no-makeup days I use CeraVe's tinted sunscreen which is very hydrating and dewy on the skin. I wear sunscreen every single day!! Hope you are doing well after your recent vaccine. :)

☀️ I also used to love the Purito but I switched to the Canmake mermaid spf 50. Its a slightly glowy, moisturizing spf. It feels great and wears great under makeup. My new fav!

I was, for years, using a Cancer Council Matte sunscreen, which is great under makeup but to wear alone certainly was NOT matte. Dr Dray recommended the Nivea Sun UV Face Shine Control SPF 50. I absolutely LOVE IT. I’m on my 4th bottle. It’s moisturising and it’s NOT shiny, so when I am not wearing makeup (usually only when I’m camping) I just wear this and it doesn’t show up pores and wrinkles.

I"m fascinated that you like the Australian Gold! I've have oily/combo skin and that sunscreen feels like a tight mask and I want to scratch it right off my face!

MrsMelissaM Beauty recommended Skin Aqua spf 50 in one of her videos and I love it. I just started using it. It’s Korean I think and I got it on Amazon. It’s moisturizing! I can’t us US chemical sunscreens. Anywhere near my eyes and I am in agony! Now the one exception is the Elemis Marine Cream. Oh how I love it! I just can’t bring myself to pay $128 very often. So sad that such a great moisturizer and spf has to be so expensive! Thanks for all the recommendations!

I love the Australian Gold for a body sunscreen. Even the light version is too dark for my face but it works great on my arms, shoulders, etc., and the tint helps me make sure I get every area.
