Da Yoopers are from Ishpeming near Lake Superior, they do get snow that buries cars like that up there!
Michigan uses salt as a de icer on the roads and it rusts cars out BAD!

That's Joe Potila, one of Da Yoopers founding members, driving the car. Unfortunately, Joe passed away in 2001 at the too young age of 52. Joe, along with fellow Yoopers founder Jim DeCaire, wrote most of their early material.

I live in Negaunee, so not only do they play it on the radio, I know many of the band members, past and present. Find the album called For Diehards only 1 and 2. It's the greatest hits. Lots of good Yooper comedy and parody songs! And yes, we get upwards of 390 inches of snow between October and May. Sometimes July🤣🤣🤣
