My mom has Alzheimers. The whole time growing up, my mom crocheted, knitted, embroidered, sewed, etc. My mom was never into watching TV, even before Alzheimers, but especially now with Alzheimers. But my mom watches and pays attention the entire time when I play your videos for her! She doesn't always remember how to crochet (or knit, embroider). Sometimes it kicks in and she'll remember. Wonderful tutorials you take your time for the beginner and your voice of very soothing and patient! The only thing I’d I could suggest if you could somehow place your beginner video’s all together from what type of needle and yarn to a slip knot to a chain so it is as it is a type of on line class. I have seen that and feel it may be very helpful! Not to complain I’m just very new at this, and I’m not even sure if that is possible

Hi Kristin... I 've tried to learn crochet by just watching videos on my own and reading some beginner books but to no avail. I ran across your tutorial online and I really liked the slo mo approach taken on the single crochet video. I will follow your instructions to see if I make more progress in learning to crochet. This looks so satisfying! I got here because I wanted to make a net for a spiderweb for Halloween. You could get guys into this craft using power tools! :-) Has anyone thought of crocheting using wire? Maybe for a cooking grill or cos-play or something? I have lots of wire, but no yarn.
