Correction: Western Kshatrapas were defeated by Samudragupta and they were subordinates of Gupta empire but during Ramagupta's reign they declared their independence. When ramagupta invaded western Kshatrapas, he was defeated by the shakas.

Napoleon should be consider as 'Samudragupta of France'.

Huns despite the destruction had one great achievement in India. Mihirakula was an ardent Shiva Bhakta and as a devotee after his defeat by Yashodharman the Huns retreated into Kashmir where Mihirakula founded the Shankacharya temple where in later centuries Adi Shankaracharya would expand on the treatises of Advaita Vedanta and found many religious practices in this temple which are used in temples to this day including Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal.

02:00 It is really shameful that in our textbooks Maharaj Samudragupt is referred as Nepolian of East . He came way before Nepolian. Nepolian should be called Samudragupt of west not the other way round.

Napoleon should be called as 'Samudragupta of Europe', not Samudragupta as Napoleon of Bharat, becoz Samudragupta was King in 4th Cen. AD, and Napoleon was in 19th Cen.. But unfortunately most of our History was written by European Historians thats why they praises Napoleon.

Those who call Samudragupta the Napoleon of India should keep in mind that while Napoleon was defeated twice by the British army, Samudragupta always remained invincible. So don't insult him by saying this.
