How#Greeks would say " shut up"?

We say "σκάσε! “, which literally means Go explode yourself 🤢🤢

Also we use the same verb when it's hot.

We say σκάω από τη ζέστη!!

I'm going to blow like a bomb because of the heat💥💥💥

I know another one that my cousin taught me in Greece in 2004 for "leave me alone" you can say "αφήσει με ήσυχο" which I didn't know then but I know now is like saying "leave me quiet"

This was a favorite of my grandmother when i was kid and us grandchildren got out line..of course she added the word γαϊδούρια at the end...lol..😊

No- the first one is just shut up in Greek/Greece/Ελλας it's just like skase re, so it's shut up but in Greek/Greece/Ελλας normally it's skase the thing u said so in English it's just shut :'D

Hello from US. I appreciate your channel. I enjoy the lessons. I study New Testament greek and have been wondering if the upsilon should be pronounced as a 'u' or a 'v'? For example today I am reading the word ευαγγελιον. Should I pronounce that 'evangelion' with the 'v' sound or 'euangelion' with a 'u' sound? Thanks for your help. Love your videos.
