This video shows a complete, no-death playthrough of Life Force for the Nintendo NES. Videos now in HD!

The most challenging part of this entire game comes at the very end, when you need to dodge the moving columns in the final escape sequence.

As with all my videos, this was played on a real NES, with a real cartridge. No emulators, cheats, hacks, or other BS!

Friday Nights will never be the same, renting this game, with double dragon 2, Tyson punch out, Mario 2 from the video store. The 80’s was great!!

My brother and I spend many hours playing games like Life Force and Double Dragon just to name a few back in the '80's. These games were so fun and and like others here mentioned, the soundtracks were such a big part of it and really just drew you in. Thanks for posting. Brings back great memories.

Watching this brings back good memories for me.
I was not into games really but I got all the Nintendo consoles for my son when he was young. When he got older I got him Xbox live. My family is no longer together. God I wish I had a time machine to go back to fix the mistakes I made.
To me nothing like family. Very good times for me.
I could not remember the name of this to save my life.
I did a webserch of 100 Nintendo games and the front of the box looked like it.
Now the video ! Great this was one of the games. Thank you to the person that posted it on YouTube. Much more than a game to me. Good times of my life !!!

I remember discovering the Konami code for extra lives worked on this game! I immediately called my neighborhood friend and we quickly went on to finally beat it. Ah, good gaming memories! Double option laser for me!

This game was marketed as the sequel to Gradius for the NES. It delivered!

Best game ever, one of the best soundtracks of my spooky childhood too. Waiting for Anthems release this month.

So good. I'm looking at NES shooters and so many just seem half-finished, but this one has everything right -- movement, inventory balance, color contrast, soundtrack. Also we each discovered the same principle for no deaths: dive straight at the eyeball and boil it before the whole screen fills up. :D

Pity about the encoding compression. For the audience, you have my solemn oath that the missiles come out both sides and the shield is superimposed. Even better, get a CRT and try it. ;>
