If you bond to your beef drop the bell in the desired spot to form a heard then leave your world and load back in the beef gets set to stay there so then you can unbond with him and repeat the process.

There's a guaranteed way to build a new herd.
I did it by bonding with a beefalo that already had a child.
The mother will follow as u have the bell and the child follows the mother.
Few days later the child will grow up and be independent and grow his own herd

Sometimes your beeffolo unbonds from your beeffolo bell for no reasean not sure if its a bug or something else

(At least when i last checked) A beefalo bell itself does not let a beefalo benifit from wolfgangs coaching skill
But using a beefalo horn does let them benift from it

So you could have a players riding double damage beefalos accompanied by maybe an army of double damage merm guards

I had a splumonkey steal my beefalo bell which was bonded to a fully tamed ornery beefalo.. the beef wont let me ride it anymore until i recovered the bell from the monkey
