Truma - to liften up. In reality when we donate whatever we can, we don't know whether it goes in to the needy hands or wrong hands. I don't believe the divine has created the concept of charity for recipients. It sounds so good in talks & hearing about loving others. But how many can we love practically to experience the divine feeling? The only rational answer is you be naturally in loving state because love is how I experience within and it doesn't matter who is there. If we are naturally in loving state, whole humanity is recipients. Best part is we don't have to have concern about recipients whether they recieved our love. We did our part. We elevated our life to the state of loving. So we experience love where ever we go. Similarly, charity also works the same way. Its not about others. Its not about giving uplifting feeling to others. This is egotistic idea that we are uplifting someone through charity. True meaning of charity is that "I am giver". I give whatever I can irrespective of how it is going to be. Sun gives light no bothering about who is going to take. Is sun wants to uplift us by giving light? No. It just being sun giving out what it is meant to give out. It has been created that way to give light. Flower is created to give fragrance. Its doing what it is made for. Similarly, high valued humans think themselves as givers. God created them that way to give. Giving is their quality and they give just like sun and flower. They don't bother about the recipients and what they are going to do with that. This is how I see about charity.
