I agree with a lot of people, I had a PS2 and wanted a PS3 when they were announced, but due to all of huge delays to it, I ended up moving to xbox with the 360 and I was impressed with it and always planned on getting the next gen xbox. But Sony has taken a huge jump on Microsoft. This console is amazing. I can't wait til mine comes, Mines guaranteed by Christmas.

Yes, both the game sound and voice chat can be output through the 3.5mm controller jack. That is why it has a four pole connection.
