Here is a question not related specifically to this video.
I have been looking at videos where watchmakers repair old watches. Sometimes they replace parts like the crystal or even the hands or face. Most times, they change the watch band or bracelet.
My question is - at what point does this make the watch unoriginal or even not a Submariner or whatever?
I was looking at eBay and there are watchmakers in India who seem to just take the movement and add aftermarket parts (case, caseback, crystal etc.) to make it look like a specific watch. Is this a real "Seiko" if it only has the Seiko movement in it?
Does it count as original if they gets the replacement parts from Seiko but not in the aftermarket?
