My primary care doc just recently got a scribe, and it's amazing how much she gets done! By the time I get back to the front desk, my referrals are all ready, appointments made, notes written up, forms filled out, prescriptions written, all signed by the doc and he's off to the next room. She really seems to have made a huge difference in the life of the office!

In other words, scribes don't get enough love!

(Also, can you stop saying "Hello, I'm an eye doctor and I'm here to save yourlife"?) Hehee!

At least the sign said “Eye-CU” instead of “EYE SEE YOU” because, while the former is light-hearted or confusing at worst, the later is absolutely ominous even if innocent. Kind of like Jonathan.

I felt like I lived at the hospital when I was a scribe. Got sent home multiple times for breaking work hour maximums, much to the dismay of the physicians I worked with lol.
