They could have allocated funds in the 2023 budget since the Marcos admin began in July 2022 and had full control of the budget for 2023. All of these deliveries and orders so far were made during the Duterte admin. Good thing too that then Defence Sec. Lorenzana pushed through with the 2 corvette and 6 OPV orders at the end of Duterte's term since no new ship orders were made this year. It's such a waste of time since ships take years to manufacture. It truly is such a disappointment that Pres. BBM is nowhere near as strong a leader as his late father.
