It was a pilot project and only avaliable on Indigogo in the US, UK and Ireland. It was never an official LEGO theme, you could buy in the shops. ;)

That theme actually seems pretty cool. As a kinda creative take on what lego can do. Though i see why this might not have sold cause. it doesn't look like lego. I guess the idea of giving people something pretty to look at moved to the flower sets.

I have one of these on my shelf feet away from me now, so I'm gonna help the algorithm and correct/add some fun facts:
This was far from the first adult targeted sets, but it absolutely was their first and so-far only venture into crowdfunding. This set was released through IndieGogo to gage interest.
Because of this we know there were only a few thousand of these ever shipped.
The skins are actually made of a plastic foil rather than fabric.
Due to manufacturing and logistics complexities this foil-over-technic concept was abandoned after this set.
The main kit only comes with one skin, but you could get the other 3 skins as a bundle.
A new and unique connector was used in this set to fasten the skin to the frame.
The actual moving parts are quite simple, which was intentional so the average technic fan could build more frames for their skins without needing to buy a whole new set.
I highly regret not buying 2 when backing, because they cost about 85USD for a box kit and resold for upwards of 500 in the months after release.

they probably assumed most adults would want more complex art pieces and made the fish, but then realized that adults who grew up with Legos just want to put together _more_ Legos.
