I appreciate you working with ACC to test their new offerings. I'd love to see some gel tests of their 300bo options, and if your have time, their 5.56 options. Thanks Mike!

Given 2022 prices, that ammo is very well-performing and *extremely* well-priced. Best value-deal since Remington's 50- and 100-round boxes of 9mm JHP, and that's been a minute. Thanks for presenting this!

The XTP is probably the best old cheap bullet because it actually penetrates to a reasonable depth. You can even buy and reload them yourself for practice or pistol hunting (critter dependant, 10mm can give some nice results)

I just shot some of the FMJ range ammo from this company today and I was impressed with it. It is very clean burning ammo, did not take long to clean the gun afterward. I did not use a chrongraph, but the feel is correct for the advertised velocity on it. 124 grain FMJ 1150 fps is what I shot. Some of the cleanest burning ammo I have shot in a long time. It is on sale right now, get some while you can.

Just ordered three 100 rd boxes for $46 each. 300 rds is enough rounds to last me a lifetime in terms of self defense with at least 285 rds to spare

I’ve been loading my own so long I can’t remember the last time I’ve bought a box of ammo other than 22lr and 12ga but I haven’t bout 9mm, 223/556 in years. Now that my small pistol and small rifle primer stash is dwindling down and current prices on primers I’ll probably be back to buying factory ammo before long. Definitely gonna keep this brand in mind. I’ve seen a couple GunTubers using this and of course I always wonder if they are just saying good things cause it’s free or not but I’ll give it a go. I’ve always felt like this channel has been one of the few that doesn’t simp for brands just cause it’s free and even some times when it’s not free. Thanks for the video and everything you do to help us common folk out. Now if I could get my permission slips from the regime for my cans I would be so happy. I wanna shoot suppressed lol

I don't know if he mentioned it but this company is owned by Palmetto State Armory. Good old fashioned made in the USA.

XTP is an oldie but a goodie. One thing that remains consistent with that round is that it is very durable and requires good velocity to expand reliably. You can watch dozens of videos showing it working as advertized. I would just caution any buyer that you want at least a 4in barrel. It seems like regardless of caliber, under 4in is iffy at best.

Good info. The XTP was designed for the FBI after the Miami Disaster. It is supposed to expand to 1.5x diameter and penetrate deeply. It does that at the velocities you got. I saw a video where the 9mm XTP was shot into the gel at 100 yards from a carbine. It worked perfectly.

Simply put, the XTP works at the designed parameters. I have used them in all my handguns from .32 Magnum up to 480 Ruger. My favorite handgun bullets.

Very good company. Very good ammo. I've been shooting their ammo since 2022 of Dec and now have shot a total of their .308 380acp, 45acp, 9mm and now 10mm. Roughly around 5, 000 rounds total. Not " 1 " problem. I love the fact that PSA even makes their own primers in house

XTP has been around a long time, it's still a viable option.

Great timing of this video, I've been using their 115gr ball ammo for the range and was wondering about these hollow points. I might puck up a couple hundred to try out.

Looks like a good, affordable JHP option for stacking considering the cost.

on the subject of 9mm after 46 years of reloading many, many calibers i like test a caliber with different size bullets for best accuracy and function. in my cz 52in 9mm ive reloaded 357 dia.xtp in 110 gr, 125 grand Remington 110gr sjhp bullets. they shoot accurately, flawless operation , awesome expansion. i also shoot these bullets in one of my Taurus g2c pistols that is accurate and flawless in operation. not all 9mm pistols will do this. plus they expand better in my 9mm than a 38 special revolvers I've tried them in. papa wishing you well 😊

Taofledermaus mentioned using a torch to heat the gel and get rid of those wrinkles so th channels are easier to see
