Just a quick note - 70mm is 2.75 in not 3.5 so the engraved area is smaller than you mentioned. Still can do coasters and such but only a 2.75 inch image on the larger surface. 90mm is more like 3.5 inches. The spec sheet you show at (9:48 says 7cm); the 2.76" they show is only true if you go out to 4 decimal places 🙂

Hey Sam. Thanks for this video. I bought one of these a week ago and love it so far. you CAN actually adjust the focusing lasers to line up with the cutting laser. Remove two screws from under the head near the lasers. Slide the plate with the LED off (careful of the LED wires, and there you will see the laser mounts with the set screws. I only loosened the inner ones to move them. The only small side effect if there is a little hazing from the lasers on the bed but its minimal. This is caused from the thickness of the cover plate but there is no interference from it. Just thought youd like to know this :) keep up the good work. Dave

Bet money it's not just a leadscrew, but also one or 2 linear rails inside that channel, especially with how sturdy it is. And NOW you've got 2 Galvo's, and here I'm stuck with zero, I'm definitely jelly, LOL.

Talk about timing! I was JUST about to buy an Atomstack based on you other video when I caught this one less than 10 minutes later. Now I have food for thought. Trying to talk myself into the $400 price difference and how that will pan out over time.

No doubt about it that is a neat little fiber laser. I have a Cloudray 50 watt that will engrave on a 11.5 x 11.5 inch area. I found out you can melt the heck out of slate so doing coasters I run the power way back and the speed way up. The laser rabbit hole is a lot of fun.

I just Ordered mine yesterday. Any tips on doing plastics the proper speed and power settings would be appreciated. Maybe some extra information on the software would be nice.

Great review, I picked up one of these. Do you mind sharing the settings on how you got the dark lettering on steel? I cant seem to get that to work.

I’d love one of these to use to engrave the circuit numbers on the outlet plates in my shop, but the price is a little much just to satisfy my finicky, organized self.😊

Can I download a copy of the software before buying it? I’m so used to using light firm, but it doesn’t look too bad can you?
Go over the alignment for small objects like that screwdriver again thanks .

These are getting very useful but 70x70mm is just a little too small. 100x100 will do coasters and metal business cards. Will a different lens change to area?

How does this work with doing cups and round objects? Is there an optional? Cup roller.

Can you engrave a few wrenches and tools and post in new video? I really would love to see some hand tools such as wrench, hammer, etc engraved real time. Very interested in this machine currently listed $500 off for this one purpose for work. Been following you for many years now, great site! Love your videos.
