Immortal Wing Chun dummy - review

I brought this dummy in the states 10 yrs. ago. The add on the Free Standing Dummy read that it was "UNBREAKABLE" and it is. I myself have been praticing Wing Chun for 27 yrs. and I've hit on quite a few dummys. In 2005 I had to let a friend hold and keep it for me and we keep it outside all of that time. I just last month in Dec. after 7 yrs. picked it up in the same spot we lift it."IT IS INDESTRUCTIBLE.I LIVE IN BALTO.MD AND THIS THING DIDN'T DENT, DISCOLOR, CRACK OR MISS A BEAT. IT'S THE BEST.

I purchased the Immortal free standing extruded plastic mook jong about 13 years ago. It's truly an amazing tool. Durable like nothing else. I've left outside years at a time, cleaned it up and put it inside. It's my favorite training tool. I do have a classic teak jong, but I always use my immortal when I want to get rough. I had thought the company went under as I could no longer find them. I'm so glad to see that they are doing well.

For the flat dummy, it is important for it to be semi-rounded to allow practising hitting at the side for the serious Wing Chun practitioner. Also, the two pole tips at the upper dummy should be horizontally in line with each other for correct training.

Free standing immortal dummy is still 500 quid too dear if you ask me !!!! its recycled plastic. i know that hard wood dummys are dear but thats cos hard wood is dear plastic is dirt cheap.

look at the technology behind it a big pole and a few sticks poking out.
i know theyre proper good for training but still more like 300 pound would be better

The leg is the weakest link, replacements should be free.
Other than that, good dummy. £300, these would sell like hit cakes

eh? why is the dummy's arm not in line with one another? i read an article that said it has to be in line together to keep techniques done on both sides equal

sorry to say mate but its more like 15 16 years ago and they are made in dumfries scotland from recycled plastic and are only made by 2 people of which u am 1 of
