My Daddy was adopted and my parents struggled with infertility for years before having 3 bio kids aka my twin bro and younger sis. Prior to those births, they adopted my mom's nephew from her older half bro that couldn't care for him. When I was 8, his bio sis came to live with us. I will always look at them as my older bro and sis and nothing less. My parents were also foster parents for years too during the 80s. Lord I miss them both.

I have a genuine question... my Husband and I adopted 3 boys who all share my Husband's completion. In public, school, sporting events, etc. People will usually address my Husband concerning our kids because of assumptions. Even through I am the primary one that interacts with everyone (phone calls, meeting, paperwork literally everything) Do you experience this? If so, how does it make you feel and how do you address it 🧡 Thank you 🧡
