So when dealing with ductboard plenum with flex take-offs, you pretty much have to use either an anemometer or a flow hood at the supply diffusers...that's what I'm taking away from this. I have a vane anemometer that reads cfm, but is only accurate if you input the diffuser's area and k-factor into the equation. How does a hood get by without having to input a k-factor?
