I respect, Gareth because I beleive he is very genuine and honest in nature including the best for the national team snd unfortunately gor him he does realise he now is the weakest leak.He done brilliant for someone that manny say he's won nothing really in his football career.Not everyone needs a bloody university degree to do well and even they bugger up

For Roy Keane to have a personal and professional respect for G. Southgate should speak volumes. Very different character and yet Keane has always been very positive and respectful to him.

England should be able to walk tall and full of confidence but the media are beyond toxic and need to have a look at themselves.

What Southgate has done for English football the last 8 years has been nothing short of spectacular. We will find out how much he’s missed if the next England manager even forgets to tie his shoelaces. I agree he's calm and reserved. The team has been very fortunate the last two Euro's, though. Played almost all their games at Wembley in 2021 and most of the draw was straightforward, if not easy. This season it was even easier, and they lucked out against Slovakia and Switzerland. Slovakia were a little over a minute from sending them home.

I’m not sure about this to be honest. He doesn’t strike me as somebody that has what all the top managers half. When it comes to making those tough decisions he just hasn’t the balls to do it. Really nice guy but every manager needs to have that fear factor also. Players are to blame also.

There's no excuse for euro20 england had the biggest advantage over every other team that year, played all games but one in England when all other teams had to constantly travel and he still bottled the final, England have under achieved for decades now theres no doubt about that but southgate has been so lucky yet still couldn't get them over the line
