Did you compare Clarity with Voice isolation?
I had it purchased later last year just to figure out I cannot really use it inside Resolve lol

Now wondering if it even makes any sense to use Clarity instead of Voice isolation.

Hey, I have a MacBook Air M1, but the plugin doesn't show up in Davinci Resolve. I did the same steps that you show us in the video. All my programs are updated. Is there any folder or something that I have to change?

Hey Jason I’ve been trying to have the Clarity plugin work but it still doesn’t but on there hand the clarity reverb plugin and the old waves plugin do work am i supposed to do something to make it work? Resolve 18.5 and 19 still don’t work

It seems that part of the issue with some Waves plugins not being available in Resolve, particularly in the PC version, is that Resolve may be having difficulty with Waves V13 & 14 file structure.

Waves do not install plugins in the form of .vst3 or .vst, but .bundle files, with the naming scheme being [PluginName].bundle.
I.e., Clarity VX is installed in your Plug-Ins V13 folder (or Plug-Ins V14 folder) as Clarity VX.bundle. (on my PC the path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V14\Clarity VX.Bundle)

The file that the host application reads when scanning is the WaveShell1-VST3 13.x_x64.vst3 (or for Version 14: WaveShell1-VST3 14.x_x64.vst3). That is installed in C:\Program File\Common File\VST3.

To add further confusion, it seems that some Waves plugins then reference further data from another folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Data\ E.G., for Clarity Vx the path to one of four data flies is C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Data\Clarity Vx\openvino\Network\A

In my case I could not get Clarity Vx to load in Resolve until one day recently it “magically” loaded after I had done a Waves Central update. I currently have the unable to load issue with BB Tubes plugin. It is in the Plug-Ins V14 folder but still refuses to load in Resolve.

I suspect that the Resolve/Waves Plugins issue may be related to the .bundle format.

Finally, a handy tip: You will find the manual/documentation for each of your installed Waves Plug-in in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Plug-Ins V14\Documents

Hi does Clarity works on on Davinci resolve 18.5? After I install the plugin Davinci keep crashing. But when I run it on Rosetta than it’s fine.

The VST doesn’t load in resolve. The AU does. The VST does load in audition. I think clarity is behind the curve though. Resolve’s voice isolation and leveller does as good a job for most uses and accusonus were well ahead. Adobe podcast is far better and will feature in Adobe apps soon enough. Waves are struggling to keep up.
