Awesome build. (first) may need to follow this layout. Did I mention that I'm FIRST!

Good to see a young engineer getting into complex tasks, you should be very proud of your ingenuity. 🥇👻

Great job. I made one similar a few years back and it worked very well for my needs. Enjoy.

Bro. I wish you would get back to making videos and more frequent videos. You’re the first person I’ve come across that doesn’t get on my nerves, naturally funny and real. You also show us how to do things at home, for cheap for people that just do this as a hobby that don’t have all the fancy stuff etc. come back bro!!! We need you!!! lol seriously though.

1/2" 13 means if you count the threads in a 1 inch section, there are 13 of them. You also know if you turn the bolt one full rotation, it moves 1/13th of an inch, or about .077".

Not trying to be a smarty pants but on the tap and die set, the 13 doesn’t stand for mm but it means 13 threads per inch. Just love your videos and I’m working to build one of these sanders myself

I would totally use a purple 2x72. No problem. Purple is my favorite color! Awesome build sirSir, I hope it works well for you. Boy tell me about tight cash flow. Never enough to go round.

Just built mine using your design. Great video. Working out the tracking. Any tips? Belts are flying off.

Another awesome video. I am curious how much you charge for a railroad spike knife.

I'm broke too... I am also trying to build a belt grinder with whatever parts I can find.

Well done👍 I’m just going to buy a 2x48 with plattern frame for 1000 bucks because I already have a motor. It’s the same grinder that Alec Steele uses even though it’s a 2x48 not 2x72 grinder.
