The municipality should vacum pump the sewers like they use to at regular intervals . When sewers are full of rubbish they can't handle the flow. In early July our neighborhood sewers were pumped clean and we had no flooding. It is an obligation of the municipality to clean those

This might sound crazy but ever since Trudeau’s government announced that we pay more carbon taxes to fight climate change we in Montréal Quebec are getting more rain turn to floods in the summer. My prayers go out to Quebeckers my friends and their families. Any electric cars damaged 😢🙏🖤🇨🇦❤️‍🩹

There needs to be a new way of designing and building houses and structures in general. For example limiting the ground floor to parking and utilities.

Too bad they've never heard of my emergency flood barrier construction method....quick, fast, waterproof, and no back breaking agonizingly slow labor. Anyone interested in it now?

Do people in Montreal have common sense? Your sea level is very low unless you are living in Mount Royal. Move people! This flooding is going get worse every year eventually insurance companies are not going to renew your policies.

Thankyou_
