Academy Award® winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") narrates the IMAX 3D® documentary "Island of Lemurs: Madagascar," the incredible true story of nature's greatest explorers—lemurs. The film reunites Freeman with Drew Fellman, who also wrote and produced the 2011 IMAX 3D documentary "Born to Be Wild 3D," and director David Douglas, who served as director of photography on that film.

I kept waiting and  waiting for King Julian to pop out and be like "And now we party all the time!" I seriously thought this was a sequel to the animated movies

Any anthropology connoisseur knows the Lemur "rowing" to Madagascar theory, it's still just a theory and not a fact. Why making it into a movie as if it was 100% factual? What about the lemurs in south america? did they rowed all the way there from Africa, too? Easy money, still interesting tbh...

Joe Mansell over time the lemurs became more and more and they should get split up into many different environments on the island of Madagascar. Then because I'd the different environments, they would evolve differently and now we have many different species originally coming from one species.

It's studied in high school biology.

and then i remembered that humans live on madagascar and realised that their chance of survival is very slim

then i remembered madagascar is right off the east coast of africa and lost ALL hope
