Acts 1-2 | Pentecost | Bible Study

This Bible study devotional covers Acts chapters 1-2. In this passage, we read about the Holy Spirit falling on the apostles in Jerusalem, along with Peter preaching the first gospel message.

As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Acts 1-2, we see that Jesus undoes the curse and the fall by offering forgiveness of sin and the gift of himself to all nations.

The information was great but he spoke to fast for me. I felt it needed a little more time. What if it is someone that's never studied the bible. For me as a senior I can't hear good so trying to keep up ia more difficult. Now I'm not complaining just letting you know as a senior those things could help. I love what you all do. I actually sent this to a rock singer that God laid on my heart to witness to. I'm praying he sees the light. God bless you all

It's true that in Acts ch.2 that the tower of Babel judgement Is reversed and the pure language is restored.
The reason that the believers on recieving the Holy Spirit spoke in one pure language but those in the crowd individually heard what they were saying in their individual native languages is because this purified language is the source of all of their languages.

In the original Koine Greek, that the N.T. was written in, the word " tongues" means "another language" and "a language, .
In Acts ch.2, when the apostles recieved the Holy Spirit, they all spoke in the same one spiritual language. The miracle for those in the crowd was that they all Heard what was being said, in that one spiritual language, in their individual languages.
The Word confirms this by it being repeated three times in this chapter by having the men in the crowd, three times, saying, " How hear we them in our own language" ?
This one spiritual language Paul calls the "unknown tongue that no man understands "in 1Cor.14:2.
