On the season, Jared Goff is ranked the 24th overall QB in the NFL per PFF. So all these amazing stats are because of scheme? If so, isn’t this exactly what PFF was created for?

Its crazy cus you can tell they didnt watch the chiefs raiders cus they didnt mention the 2 RedZone possessions the raiders had and the 3 points they got from them.

Why do all talking heads fall all over themselves caping up for "Caleb"? These guys are supposedly analytically-driven, and still, their dialog seemed to center around "Caleb was ready to step up...he had some sick side-arm throws...." What does that even mean? It sounds like folks are trying to confirm priors–which is the opposite of logical. Or they are judging a beauty contest.

If Justin Herbert had Ben Johnson or Andy Reid or Sean McVay or Matt LaFluer or ANY non-dinosaur OC, he would be the MVP. Even with the WR group that PFF rated as #32 to start the season. (and DJ Chark hasn't played this year) The Chargers are wasting the best arm talent in the NFL.

Some of these rankings are bullshit. I see Josh Allen with a 60 rating and Patrick Mahomes has a 85 rating despite having the same stats. Josh has 20 more passing yards and 1 less incompletion and 10 more rushing yards.
