This guy became the GOAT of online discourse just by saying one thing over and over and it’s really simple as to how that happened; he cracked what everyone else has been missing in online discourse: the ability to refuse a premise. Whoever starts an argument sets the terms and creates a premise on which you argue, but sometimes that premise is flawed or just fucked up… because (newsflash) dumbasses exist. But in our eagerness to debate we’re often way too quick to just accept the premise and without even realizing it argue on their terms.

So the big takeaway from this is, before you enter a debate or discourse of any kind, the VERY FIRST thing you need to do, before anything else, is evaluate the premise. If the premise is not one you agree with or doesn’t even make sense, fix it for them or better yet you don’t have to argue at all. But whatever you do, don’t argue on a premise you already know is just wrong

I respect people with enough intellectual discipline to pause, think about the validity of a question and refuse giving an answer just for the sake of it. That is actually how you can easily recognize someone who's not intelectually lazy. People who form opinions based on illogical qestions are a big problem in modern society.
